Connect Mindbody with Avigilon Alta Access

Members in Mindbody. Access with Alta.

OpenMy.World connects your Mindbody studio to Avigilon Alta Access. Your members automatically get access to exactly the areas their membership includes – no double data entry, no key handouts.

Your members live in Mindbody. Your doors live in Alta. Now they work together.

New members, plan changes, cancellations – something changes in Mindbody every day. Until now, someone had to update access rights in Alta by hand. That takes time, and forgotten permissions are a security risk.

OpenMy.World takes that step off your plate. Mindbody stays your single source of truth for members. OpenMy.World automatically syncs memberships with Avigilon Alta Access and grants or removes the matching access rights.

From membership to open door

1. Connect. Your Mindbody account and your Avigilon Alta Access account are linked to OpenMy.World. We handle the setup together with you.
2. Map. Each Mindbody membership is mapped to an access group in Alta – for example “Basic” for the gym floor and “Premium” for the sauna and studio rooms as well.
3. Add members. You add new members in Mindbody just like today. OpenMy.World automatically creates them as users in Alta Access and assigns the right access group.
4. Open the door. Members receive an invitation email from Alta Access, set up the Alta app and unlock the door with their phone.
5. Always up to date. When a membership ends or a member switches plans, OpenMy.World updates their access automatically.

Less admin for you, more freedom for your members

For studio owners

1. No double data entry. Manage members and memberships in Mindbody only. Users and access groups in Alta follow automatically.
2. Access only with an active membership. When a membership ends, OpenMy.World removes access automatically – no one has to remember.
3. Areas by plan. Each membership opens exactly the doors that belong to it.
4. Longer hours without extra staff. Early mornings, late evenings or 24/7: members get in even when the front desk is empty.
5. Full audit trail. Every door event is logged in Alta Access and can be linked to Alta Video.

For your members

1. Their phone is the key. No cards, no fobs, no keys to pick up.
2. Easy start. Open the invitation email, set up the app, done.
3. Independent of front-desk hours. Work out whenever it fits their day.

Built for studios that run on Mindbody and secure their doors with Alta

1. Gyms, including 24/7 clubs: Active members train around the clock, and ended memberships lose access automatically.
2. Yoga, Pilates and boutique studios: Members can get into the studio even before anyone is at the front desk.
3. Climbing and bouldering gyms: Different memberships for different areas.
4. Martial arts, boxing and dance studios: Regular members come in for training on their own.
5. Chains and franchises: Running multiple locations? Talk to us – we'll work out the right setup for your network together.
